EFT TRAINING POLICY

Therapy4me EFT training is approved, accredited and certified by the Association for the Advancement of Meridian Energy Techniques(www.AAMET.org) and approved by Gary Craig – the founder of EFT.  Therapy4me is covered by Personal Liability Insurance with the Complementary Therapists Association.  Summary of the insurance cover can be found at http://www.complementary.assoc.org.uk/InsuranceInfo/

PRE-REQUIREMENTS

No previous experience is necessary to attend Level 1.  Level 2 and 3 students are expected to hold Level 1 or 2 certificates or equivalent.  Therapy4me retains the right to refuse entry to a student or terminate a student’s training where it sees fit.

CANCELLATION POLICY

A deposit of £30 is required in advance of Levels 1-3 and is non-refundable in the event of the student cancelling, although the fee can be transferred to another training session with Therapy4me.  In the unlikely event that Therapy4me cancels, full monies will be refunded upon request.

CONFIDENTIALITY

Anything personal discussed during training should be treated as confidential and respected by all.  Confidential information should not be disclosed outside of the training group without permission of the individual concerned.

COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE

I aim to deliver a professional training course but if you feel your training has not been to your satisfaction, please address your complaint to the AAMET details of which can be found here www.AAMET.org.

PERSONAL THERAPY

Students are expected to be willing to examine and work on their own psychological issues. By agreeing to come on this course it assumes that you agree to working on your own issues to enable the flow of healing, which is essential to being a good therapist. A reduction in the regular fee will be offered to students seeking help in this regard with Therapy4me.

INSURANCE

Before using EFT on another person, regardless of whether payment is received or not,  students and graduates are encouraged to take out professional indemnity insurance either as a student or practitioner.

At the end of Level 1 training, students will be equipped to use EFT on themselves, family and friends.  Level 1 students should not attempt to treat psychotic clients or clients with severe mental health problems.  It is highly recommend that students practice regularly to gain confidence and improve their skills before embarking on Level 2.

Students who have trained with Therapy4me are welcome to attend any other Level 1 training free of charge, subject to availability.

LEVEL 2

After Level 2 and students will be in the top 5% of EFT Therapists.  A short exam is included and a Level 2 attendance certificate will be awarded.  This certificate will be upgraded to Practitioner status once two case studies have been submitted to Therapy4me within 3 months following completion of training.  The case studies will be assessed to determine suitability and confidence in using EFT before awarding Practitioner status.  E-mail and/or telephone support is provided within this 3 month period to support students in achieving Practitioner status.  Once the case studies have been approved, Therapy4me will then report the student’s new status to the AAMET and the student will be offered the opportunity to join the AAMET without joining or  membership fees and can advertise their details on their website if they so wish.  They may also add MAAMET or MIAAMET after their name.  Members of the AAMET must also abide by the AAMET Code of Conduct  that can be found on their website.

Students who have trained with Therapy4me are welcome to attend any other Level 2 training free of charge, subject to availability.
